What kind of fuel crisis are you talking about? Gas stations are full, the cost has risen, but not significantly. Now my family has an electric car and an electric vehicle charging station for it, but I bought a Tesla because of a personal whim, and not for the sake of saving. The second car in the family is a huge Toyota Tundra, which I also often drive. And I do not plan to save on fuel.
